Dance Sweep: August 10, 2013...
It's time to close up this five-part "chart sweep" bringing you the newest songs reaching the music charts in Billboard magazine, and what better way to do it than to serve the latest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio...
On the DJ-polled Hot Dance Club Play chart, Cher makes it to #1 (surprise!) in just her fifth week on the list with "Woman's World". It's her eighth to reach the top....If only "the gays" would go and buy the damn song!
The top debut this week belongs to drag icon Lady Bunny with "Take Me Up High"....

Newcomer Bleona is from the Baltic nation of Albania, and she's in at #45 with "Take It Like A Man", and she enlists the awesome Bimbo Jones remix team to perk it up...
Gay rapper Cazwell and sassy songstress Luciana team up at #46 with "Guess What?". This is Caz's fourth time on the dance chart - his hilarious "I Seen Beyonce at The Burger King" made it to #23 in 2008, and this new one is my "Dance Pick of the Week"....
There never is a lack of Yoko Ono tracks to remix their way to the club chart, but her "Walking On Thin Ice", which already topped the list in 2003, is revamped ten years later with new mixes from Dave Aude and Ralphi Rosario and enters at #47....
The final debut on the club chart at #49 is alt-hiphop act Major Lazer with "Bubble Butt" featuring Bruno Mars, Tyga, and Mystic....(NSFW)
Meanwhile, on the radio-monitored Hot Dance Airplay/Mixshow list, Daft Punk reign for an eleventh week with "Get Lucky"...
The sole entry at #25 pairs up Dutch DJ/producer Nicky Romero with Australian twin sister duo NERVO on "Like Home"...
That does it for tonight....I'll be back tomorrow to kick off my Album Sweep for this week, and well as serve up another Song of the Day. Thanks for stopping by!
