Dance Sweep: February 1, 2014...

We're at the finish line of this week's "chart sweeps", checking out the songs reaching the singles lists in Billboard magazine, and I'm wrapping up with the newest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio.

On the DJ-polled Dance Club Play chart, Demi Lovato takes her second song to #1 with "Neon Lights"...

The top entry of the week at #45 belongs to British singer Ellie Goulding with "Burn" (already at #2 on the dance airplay chart). She topped the chart already with "Anything Could Happen" and as a guest on Calvin Harris' "I Need Your Love" last year...

Newcomer Dawn Woods debuts at #46 with "Capture"...

Malea also comes aboard at #47 with "Give"...

The last entry on the club chart at #49 is Bombs Away with "Better Luck Next Time", my "Dance Pick of the Week" not just a little because of the video..

Meanwhile, on the radio-monitored Dance Airplay chart, Zedd and Hayley Williams hold on for a ninth week on top with "Stay The Night"...

The sole debut at #22 is Lady Gaga with R. Kelly on "Do What U Want"...

That's it for tonight...I'll return tomorrow with another Song of the Day, part one of this weeks album sweep, and my British chart recap. Cheers!
