Today's Song of the Day is by soft-rock cuddle-bear Christopher Cross, who kicked off his sophomore album Another Page with a top-20 pop hit "All Right". He followed that positive mantra with a less optimistic but still brightly-arranged "No Time For Talk", where he tells his love, thanks, but no thanks. It features Doobie Brother Michael McDonald on backing vocals...

The song became Chris' lucky seventh top-40 pop hit, while making it up to #10 on the adult-contemporary (soft-rock) chart. While it was one of his lesser hits, he would make up for it soon with the help of a little soap opera on ABC...
