Today's song of the day is by Detroit rock legend Bob Seger, who returned in 1982 with a countrified cover of Rodney Crowell's "Shame On The Moon" that gave him his biggest hit up to that time. For the followup single, Seger and his Silver Bullet Band released one of Seger's own songs, the driving "Even Now"...


The single was Seger best success on rock radio from the album, making it to #2 in 1983. It also made the top-40 in Canada, and was a minor hit in England as well, his first in four years...
