"New Day" was a club hit for R&B legend Patti LaBelle. Appearing on her album Timeless Journey, the song was written by LaBelle with producers Jason Rome and the Corner Boys (Dwayne Nesmith and Pierre Medor), along with Tiffany Palmer and Carlos Ricketts. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #11 in 2004, while reaching #36 on their R&B Singles chart and #93 on the pop Hot 100.
