"Heaven Must Have Sent You" was a club and radio hit for singer Bonnie Pointer. Appearing on her 1978 debut album Bonnie Pointer, the song was a remake of a soul nugget from the Elgins from 1966 written by the iconic Holland-Dozier-Holland team at Motown. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top-80 chart, the disco extravaganza climbed to #8, spending 22 weeks on the chart. On the pop Hot 100, the single just missed the top ten, peaking at #11.
