Disco Dessert 3/3/20 - "La Vie En Rose" by Grace Jones....

"La Vie En Rose" was a club hit for singer and fashion icon Grace Jones. Appearing on her album Portfolio, the song is a cover of a French tune co-written and made popular by singer Edith Piaf in 1947. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40 chart, the Portfolio album charted as one entry, with "What I Did For Love", "Tomorrow", and "La Vie En Rose" listed as key tracks. The set climbed to #10 there in 1977.
