Soul Sweep: May 11, 2013...





It's the "hump" of today's "chart sweeps" of the new music making the charts in Billboard magazine, and this time out it's the latest on R&B radio...

On the main R&B/HipHop chart, rapper Wale gets to #1 for the second time after "Lotus Flower Bomb" with "Bad"...

There are only two new songs on the chart, and first up is American Idol winner Fantasia with "Without Me" featuring Missy Elliott and Kelly Rowland. In 2007 she topped the list with "When I See U"...

The other entry at #48 is my "Soul Pick of the Week", A$AP Rocky's delve into dubstep with "Wild For The Night" featuring Skrillex...(NSFW)


Meanwhile, over on the older-skewing Adult R&B chart, Tamar Braxton spends a fourth week on top with "Love And War", while there are no new entries...
