"Free" was a club hit for the vocal group The Party. Appearing on their third album Free, the song was written by Teddy Riley and Jerrold Holmes along with producer LaVaba Mallison, with remixes done by Steve Hurley, E-Smoove, and Maurice Joshua. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #40 in 1992.
