It's time to cross the Atlantic yet again to check out the notable songs and albums reaching the chart in the UK this week...

On the official singles chart in Britain, after a one-week rest at #2, Ed Sheeran climbs back to the top with "Shape Of You", racking his 14th week...

As American rapper Kendrick Lamar's DAMN album came out (we'll get to that later), all fourteen of its tracks show up individually on the top 100 singles chart, as radio single "HUMBLE.", which leaps to #6 this week, is joined by the other selections from the set. Out of them, the highest comes at #18 with the Don Cheadle video-assisted "DNA."...

At #23 is a stand-alone single that Lady Gaga premiered at the Coachella music festival when she took over headlining from the pregnant Beyonce', "The Cure"...


Moroccan-American rapper French Montana drops in at #57 with "Unforgettable" featuring Swae Lee, who is part of the "Black Beatles" chart-topping duo Rae Sremmurd...


Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi and rapper Daddy Yankee take their international smash hit "Despacito" to this country's list at #70. The single is already in the top five in such European countries as France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Portugal...


British heavy metal act Royal Blood are back at #96 with "Lights Out". It's the lead single from their upcoming second album, How Did We Get So Dark?...


DJ/producer Anton Powers from Liverpool, who had a top-10 hit in the UK in 2015 with "Alone No More", returns at #97 with "Baby" featuring Pixie Lott...


Meanwhile, on the albums chart in the UK, Ed Sheeran is unstoppable at #1 for his seventh week with Divide, so Kendrick Lamar's DAMN settles for the runner-up spot...


London-based rapper Tinie Tempah's third album Youth lands at #9; his amazing debut, Disc-Overy, went to #1 in 2010...


American pop/rock singer/songwriter John Mayer's seventh full-length album The Search For Everything digs in at #16. His last two studio sets, Born and Raised in 2012 and Paradise Valley a year later, both reached #4 in this country...
