Here's the top ten hits in Germany this week, according to their official singles chart, as "Shape Of You" from Ed Sheeran spends a fourth week at #1 (while his "Castle On The Hill" rises to #2)...

Icelandic rock band Kaleo land in the top ten with their international breakthrough hit "Way Down We Go"...

Further down the chart, Los Angeles based DJ/producer Vice teams up with British singer Jasmine Thompson and American rapper Skizzy Mars on "Steady 1234" which jumps into the top-40 at #30...

French-Congolese rapper/singer Maître Gims slips into the top-40 at #37 with his single "Loin" ("Far") featuring Dany Synthé. It's his first hit in Germany; and this specific song hasn't even reached the top-40 in France yet....

Meanwhile, on the albums chart in this country, thrash-metal band Kreator, from the west German city of Essen, claim their first #1 album with their fourteenth studio set Gods Of Violence...

Another act from that area of the country, Kärbholz from North Rhine-Westphalia, arrive at #2 with their seventh album Überdosis Leben ("Overdose Life"). It's their second trip to the top ten after their last release Karma in 2015...

Rapper Soufian from Offenbach climbs in at #3 with Alle' Alle'...

MC Bilal comes in at #6 with Alles Zu Seiner Zeit ("All In Good Time") (There's no video available in the States as yet - in Europe you can check it here)...

And in a completely different direction, schlager-pop trio Fernando Express, around since the late 60s, roll in at #7 with Das Beste...
