I'm ready to cross the Atlantic once again to check out the notable singles and albums making the charts in the UK this week...

On the official British singles chart, Ed Sheeran continues his one-two punch as "Shape Of You" and "Castle On The Hill" remain at #1 and #2 for a fourth week...

Alternative electronica group Major Lazer return with the top debut of the week at #20 with "Run Up" featuring rapper/singer Partynextdoor and Nicki Minaj. It's the second single from their upcoming Music Is The Weapon album; the first, "Cold Water" with Justin Bieber and MØ, topped the chart here for five weeks last year...

Dutch DJ/producer Martin Garrix went to #9 with his collaboration with Bebe Rexha, "In The Name Of Love", and now returns at #23 with "Scared To Be Lonely", featuring British pop singer Dua Lipa, who is also at #10 with "No Lie" with Sean Paul, and #11 on her own with "Be The One"...


While British rapper-turned blues/rock singer Rag'N'Bone Man's former #2 hit "Human" drops a couple spots to #7 this week, his new single "Skin" arrives at #35...


Swedish songstress Zara Larsson moves in at #44 with "So Good" featuring American rapper Ty Dolla $ign, as her hit "I Would Like" falls out of the top ten to #12...


American pop/rock middle-agers Train roll into the station at #47 with "Play That Song", which interpolates the pop standard "Heart and Soul". The band has had two top-ten hits in the UK, with "Drops Of Jupiter" in 2001 (#10) and "Drive By" in 2012 (#6)...


Former X Factor UK winner came back in a big way with his #1 hit "Say You Won't Let Go", which is getting traction in America right now. As that descends to #15, his next offering "Safe Inside" enters at #49...


From London, soul-pop singer Izzy Bizzu peaked at #90 with her stellar singer "White Tiger" last year; she's back at #56 with "Talking To You"...


Dave (aka David Santan), also from London, pairs up with J Hus at #63 for his second chart hit, "Samantha". His first, the Drake-assisted "Wanna Know (Remix)", stopped at #51 last year...


New York-based sibling indie-pop band AJR land their first British hit at #71 with "Weak"...


American rap trio Migos current top the US pop chart with "Bad And Bougee" (which moves up to #31 in the UK), and their next hit "T-Shirt" shuffles in at #82...


British pop singer/songwriter James Blunt previews his upcoming The Afterlove album with "Love Me Better" at #93. He topped the chart here back in 2005 with "You're Beautiful"...


Brooklynite Bebe Rexha, who sang on Martin Garrix's aforementioned "In The Name Of Love", slips in at #95 with "I Got You"...


Meanwhile, on the albums chart in the UK,  the soundtrack to La La Land featuring actors Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone moves up to #1...

Deaf Havana, an alternative rock band from the eastern region of Norfolk, drop in at #5 with their fourth album All These Countless Nights...


The fourth album from lesbian pop singer/songwriter Lucy Spraggan, I Hope You Don't Mind Me Writing, finds itself at #12. Her second, Join The Club, peaked at #7 in 2013...



As Train's "Play That Song" reaches the singles chart above, the album it comes from, A Girl A Bottle A Boat, sails in at #13...


Also, Migos takes their Culture album featuring "T-Shirt" and "Bad And Bougee" to #16...


R&B/pop singer Kehlani makes her debut at #26 with Sweetsexysavage...
