"Club At The End Of The Street" - Elton John
from the album Sleeping With The Past (1989)
Billboard Hot 100 peak: #28 (one week)
Weeks in the Top-40: 5

"Club At The End Of The Street" became the third American Top-40 pop hit from Sleeping With The Past in July of 1990. The single also climbed all the way to #2 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary (or "easy listening") radio chart. Internationally, the record topped the chart in Denmark, and made the top-40 in Canada (#12), Australia (#19), France (#24), Belgium (#24), Ireland (#27), the Netherlands (#28), and Austria (#30). In the UK, the song peaked at #47, and also just missed the top-40 in Germany at #45.
