Soul Sweep: February 22, 2014...

We're at the "hump" of today's "chart sweeps", testing out the songs making Billboard magazine's singles charts, and now I'm serving up the latest on R&B radio...

On the main R&B/Hip Hop Airplay chart, Beyonce and Jay Z are at #1 for a fourth week with "Drunk In Love"...

The top debut on the chart this week is newcomer Bando Jonez with "Sex You"...

alt-soul singer Aloe Blacc arrives at #47 with "The Man"...

We Are Toonz debut at #49 with "Drop That #NaeNae"...

And bringing up the rear at #50 is Toni Braxton and Babyface with "Where Did We Go Wrong". It follows their collab "Hurt You" which is still in the top-20 at #19...

Meanwhile, on the Rhythmic radio panel, Kid Ink and Chris Brown hold on top for a third week with "Show Me"...

Newcomer Eric Bellinger, who co-wrote Chris Brown's "Fine China" single, comes in on his own at #38 with "I Don't Want Her" featuring Problem...

While Beyonce and hubby Jay-Z are at #2 with "Drunk In Love", the roles are reversed at #40 with "On The Run (Part II)"...

Lastly, on the older-skewing Adult R&B chart, John Legend is on top for a second week with "All Of Me"..

Gospel singer Zacardi Cortez has the high debut at #26 with "1 On 1"...

A blast from the past, Club Nouveau, is back at #27 with "That Ain't Love". You may remember them from their #1 pop remake of "Lean On Me" in 1987...

New Zealand ingenue Lorde sneaks on to this format at #28 with "Royals"...

The last entry at #29 is Beyonce yet again with "Pretty Hurts"...

I'll return in 90 with the latest country songs on the radio. Groove on!
