Def Leppard - "Rock Of Ages"
from the album Pyromania (1983)
Billboard Hot 100 peak: #16 (one week)
Weeks in the Top-40: 9

Today's Song of the Day is by British pop-metal superstars Def Leppard, who blazed the trail for hard rock to be on pop radio in the 80s with their top-20 single "Photograph" from their mega-hit album Pyromania. "Rock Of Ages" became the band's second #1 rock radio hit, and second to reach the pop top-20 as well. It also made the top-40 in Canada, but even though it was their biggest hit in their home of Britain at the time, it stalled right under the top-40 at #41.
