"Emergency On Planet Earth" was a club hit for the British alternative dance act Jamiroquai. Appearing on their debut album Emergency On Planet Earth, the song was written by the group's Jay Kay and Toby Smith, and produced by Mike Nielsen with a remix from Danny Tenaglia. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #4 in 1994, while making it to #14 on the British Singles chart.
