"Dancin'" was a club hit for the production team of (Zane) Grey and (Lee Ron) Hanks. Appearing on their debut album You Fooled Me, the song was written by the pair and featured the horn section from Earth, Wind & Fire at the end. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40 chart, "Dancin'" peaked at #21 in 1979.
