Album Sweep: October 18, 2014 - Part Two...







Part two of this week's "album sweep" is up, sampling the records making their way on to the official Top 200 Albums sales chart in Billboard magazine. Rapper SPM (for "South Park Mexican") arrives at #61 with his eleventh album Son Of Norma. He currently is in jail for sexual assualt on a minor, so sorry, I'm not gonna promote that kind of shit. Bye, Felicia.

Just in time for Halloween season, British doom metal band Electric Wizard comes in at #64 with their eighth full-length album Time To Die. It's their first to make the big chart..

Progressive rock "supergroup" Flying Colors, including members of Alpha Rev, Dream Theater, and the Dixie Dregs, put their second project Second Nature on the chart at #74. Their first self-titled set went to #81 in 2012...

Post-hardcore band Finch have reformed and fly in at #103 with their third album Back To Oblivion. Their last, Say Hello To Sunshine, climbed to #24 in 2005...


The 3 Winans Brothers (Bebe, Carvin, and Marvin) ascend to #104 with Foreign Land.


The soundtrack to the most talked about movie of the week (and biggest), Gone Girl, sees itself come in at #111. It features music from Nine Inch Nails' Trent Rezner and Atticus Ross...
