Disco Dessert 11/10/19 - "Keep On Jumpin'" from Musique...

"Keep On Jumpin'" was a club hit for the trio Musique. Consisting of Mary Seymour, Gina Tharps, and Christine Wiltshire (along with an uncredited vocal from Jocelyn Brown), the song was written by producer Patrick Adams along with Ken Morris. It appeared on their debut album Keep On Jumpin', and released on a 12" single backed with their earlier hit "In The Bush". On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40 chart, the songs spent two weeks at #1, while also climbing to #81 on their R&B list. In 1996, Jocelyn would re-record the song with Martha Wash and Todd Terry and again top the dance chart.
