Country Sweep: October 11, 2014...


Part four of this week's "chart sweeps" has the latest country songs on the radio as monitored by Billboard magazine...

On their Country Airplay chart, newcomer Cole Swindell lands his first #1 hit with "Hope You Get Lonely Tonight"...

The second single from Kenny Chesney's number one country album The Big Revival is "'Til It's Gone", which leaps in at #40, and slips in as my "Country Pick of the Week". The first, "American Kids", went all the way to the top, and sits at #6 this week...

The fourth single from Jon Pardi's debut album, "When I've Been Drinkin'", slides in at #58. The second, "Up All Night", made it to #11 earlier this year...


The final debut of the week at #60 is "Broken Windshield View" from North Carolina native Chris Lane...
