Dance Sweep: March 30, 2013...


Well, it's time to wrap up today's "chart sweeps" checking out the songs making their way on to the weekly music charts at Billboard magazine, and right now it's the latest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio.

On the DJ-polled Hot Dance Club Play chart, Mayra Veronica scored her first #1 club hit with "Ay Mama Mia"....

 The top entry at #43 is Scotsman Calvin Harris with English singer Ellie Goulding with "I Need Your Love". Both have topped this chart in the last year. This is my "Dance Pick Of the Week"....

Jumping in at #47 is Rihanna with the remixes of her top-10 pop ballad "Stay" featuring Mikky Ekko...


The last entry on the club chart at #48 is newcomer Nikki Williams with "Glowing"...


Meanwhile, over on the radio-monitored Hot Dance Airplay/Mixshow chart, Calvin Harris and Florence Welch stick around at #1 for a fifth non-consecutive week with "Sweet Nothing"...

DJ/producer deadmau5 has the top debut at #22 with "Professional Griefers" featuring singer Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance...


British X Factor runner-up Olly Murs arrives at #24 with his American breakthrough "Troublemaker" feautring rapper Flo Rida...


...while the final entry at #25 is the aforementioned "Stay" by Rihanna and Mikky Ekko.
