Heading over the Atlantic yet again to check out the songs making their debut on the official singles chart in the UK this week, as Danish indie-pop band Lukas Graham spend a second week at #1 with "7 Years"...
The top debut of the week comes from a tragic event. Up and coming indie-rock band Viola Beach and their manager died in a car accident on a bridge in Sweden on February 13th. With a rallying cry from musicians like Kasabian and Liam Gallagher from Oasis, the record company announced that proceeds from the single would benefit the families of the deceased. Two singles have made the chart now, with "Swings & Waterslides" just missing the top 10 at #11 (it was at #3 on the sales-only chart)...
