Round two of today's "chart sweeps" has the latest songs reaching rock radio on Billboard magazine's charts...
On the main Rock Airplay tally, The Black Keys hold on at #1 for an eighth week with "Fever"...
The top new entry of the week at #42 is "hard" modern rock band 30 Seconds to Mars with "Do Or Die". The track, the third single from their Love Lust Faith and Dreams album, also moves up to #28 on the alternative rock chart. The first single from the set, "Up In The Air", climbed as high as #4 last year. This new one has gotten the EDM-style treatment from Dutch DJ Afrojack...

Guitar wizard Slash returns at #45 with "World On Fire" with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. The single jumps to #20 on the Mainstream Rock radio list...
Another entry from the mainstream genre is British rockers You Me At Six with "Room To Breathe" at #49. It moves up to #19 on the Mainstream Rock radio list.

On the Mainstream Rock radio panel, Three Days Grace stick around for a fourth week on top with "Painkiller"...

Meanwhile, on the Modern Rock/Alternative chart, "Fever" reigns for an eighth week....
The sole entry at #38 is from electro-rock duo Phantogram with "Black Out Days", my "Rock Pick of the Week". It's their second hit single - the first, "Fall In Love", went to #3 earlier this year...
Lastly, on the Triple-A (adult album alternative, or "hipster rock") format, Sam Smith takes a second week at the top with "Stay With Me"...
Nashville-based indie rock band Wild Cub roar in at #26 with "Thunder Clatter". The song also moves up to #17 on the alternative list...
Ray Lamontagne follows up his top-5 AAA hit "Supernova" at #30 with "Drive-In Movies"...
