Canadian indie-rock band Metric preview their forthcoming CD Synthetica with "Youth Without Youth"....
Former White Stripe, Raconteur, and Dead Weather leader Jack White finally has a #1 album out of all those incarnations, and it's as a solo act with Blunderbuss, and the second single "Sixteen Saltines" debuts this week..
New York newcomers "fun." are riding high off their 3 million selling single "We Are Young", and come onto the rock chart with the very Queen-sounding title track from their sophomore record Some Nights.
Meanwhile, on the Alternative Rock chart, besides Metric and fun., Denver-based folk-rock outfit the Lumineers debut with a song heard on whackadoo show Hart Of Dixie, "Ho Hey"...
And finally, at Triple-A (adult album alternative) radio, Florence + The Machine debut with the third US single from her excellent Ceremonials CD, "No Light, No Light"...
