Country Sweep: March 29, 2014...

Part four of today's "chart sweeps" checks out the songs making the country radio chart this week in Billboard magazine...

On the radio-monitored Country Airplay chart, Frankie Ballard scores his first #1 hit with "Helluva Life'...

David Nail follows up his #1 his "Whatever She's Got" with "Kiss You Tonight" at #54...

Singer/songwriter/savior of country music Kacey Musgraves enters at #56 with this week's "Country Pick of the Week", "Keep It To Yourself"...

Lastly, at #49, Swedish dance music producer and musician Avicii crosses over to country stations with his "Hey Brother", featuring bluegrass icon Dan Tyminski on vocals. I'm tickled pink over this showing up; there's more country roots in Dan's vocals and the song melody than half the songs on the chart...

I'll wrap things up in an hour and a half with the latest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio...Twang on!

Be careful what you wish for...if the powers that be at Billboard pull the trigger, this song suddenly becomes the number one Country song for two months. I am really loving this David Nail album. If you get the chance to see him live, do it.

hahaha to be honest I pay no attention to the "Songs" chart only the airplay one. Yes I agree about the David Nail set.
