"Satin Soul" was a club hit for jazz/R&B keyboardist/arranger/producer Gene Page.  Appearing on his album Hot City, the song was written and produced by disco and soul legend Barry White. On Billboard magazine's Disco Action chart, the single peaked at #10 in 1974. Sadly, Page died from the effects of alcoholism in 1998 at age 59.
