Today's SOTD comes from the British rock band Cutting Crew, who had scored a #1 pop hit in America with their first single "(I Just) Died In Your Arms". Their next release was another proto-modern rock song, "One For The Mockingbird", written by band leader Nick Van Eede..

"One For The Mockingbird" reached the top-40 on both the pop and Mainstream Rock (#29) charts in America in July of 1987. However, the track missed that mark in both Canada (#47) and their native England (#52)...
