Soul Sweep: September 21, 2013...

We're at the "hump" of today's "chart sweeps" checking out the songs making the radio charts in Billboard magazine, and now I'm serving up the newest on R&B radio...

On the main R&B/HipHop Airplay chart, Robin Thicke holds tight for an eighth week at #1 with "Blurred Lines"...

The top debut goes to Justin Timberlake, who is in at #45 with his discofied "Take Back The Night"...

On the other end of the spectrum at #49 is rapper Meek Mill with "Levels"...(NSFW)

Meanwhile, on the older-skewing Adult R&B radio panel,  "Blurred Lines" is also the winner for a sixth week..

British soul singer Marsha Ambrosius is back at #31 with her latest, "Without You" featuring Ne-Yo...

..and one rung below at #32 is Chrisette Michele with "Love Won't Leave Me Out". It follows "A Couple Of Forevers", which still is up at #5 on this chart...It's my "Soul Pick of the Week"...

That's it for this soul excursion...I'll be back in 90 with the newest on country radio. Groove on!
