Twostepcub's music chart for January 30, 2009...

It's time for my tunes for the week. This week Nickelback reclaims the top spot for a non-consecutive sixth week, while Sugarland (pictured above) hangs on in the top-5. Former big hits by Kim Sozzi and Jamey Johnson drop off, while Britney Spears, Darius Rucker, and Kanye West make the biggest jumps. Link-O-Rama is back, so you can click on the name of any artist to go to their website. Ahh, sleep.

This week six new songs debut, beginning with the new single from LeAnn Rimes, "What I Cannot Change". It's one of the best cuts from her last country album, Family, and it's been remixed for club consumption making the top-10 club song.

Next up, the third single from Moby's album Last Night. Here's the vid for "Ooh Yeah"...

James Morrison had an American midsize hit with "You Give Me Something" in 2006, and now he's having his fourth top-10 hit in the UK, and its success is spreading all through Europe, hitting the top-10 in seven other countries. "Broken Strings" teams Morrison up with Canadian singer Nelly Furtado...

Pink's "So What" is still descending the chart, but she wastes no times notching her next hit, with "Sober"..

Dance singer Jes scores with her club hit, "Imagination". She formerly was known best as the vocalist behind the dance classic "As The Rush Comes" by Motorcycle...

Finally, neo-soul man Avant had put five previous songs in the R&B top-10, and just missed with his latest, "When It Hurts", which is doing well on "adult" R&B radio...

Now get some sleep!
