Today's song of the day comes from hard rock guitarist and singer Kane Roberts, who had played in Alice Cooper's band during his late-80's revival period. Kane released his own solo debut album in 1987, but it wasn't until his sophomore effort Saints and Sinners that he got noticed by mainstream radio. It was with a cover of a song written by producer Desmond Child who penned "Does Anybody Really Fall In Love Anymore?" with Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, and Diane Warren. The mid-tempo pop-rock song first appeared on Cher's Heart Of Stone album in 1989...
"Does Anybody Really Fall In Love Anymore?" became Kane's sole pop charting hit, reaching the top 40 in June of 1991. He's since pretty much left the business, but does still perform on the oldies metal circuit.
