twostepcub's music chart for June 30, 2017...

Friday's here, and it's time to run down my top 100 tunes from the previous week. Ed Sheeran remains on top for a fourth week, while Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee (pictured above) move up within the top ten (no, Bieber isn't invited to this one). Songs from Foo Fighters, Bleachers, and StoneBridge make some of the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red), while former big hits from the Chainsmokers, Cage The Elephant, Alessia Cara, Sigma/Birdy, and Jason Aldean drop off my list. America, Get Your Act Together Again...

Indie-rock band Lord Huron, originally from Michigan from where the lake they're named sits, claims the top debut at #88 with "The Night We Met"...

The Rua, a pop/rock family act from England, have their second hit on my chart with "Fire & Lies" at #93...

The fourth single from country singer Billy Currington's Summer Forever album, "Do I Make You Wanna", rolls in at #95 over two years after the release of the album...

Speed-metal veterans Metallica take their third single from their Hardwired...To Self-Destruct set, "Now That We're Dead", to #97...

They're still trying to make Rita Ora happen, and her new single "Your Song" arrives as her hosting stint on the BoyBand TV singing competition comes to pass...

The final newbie of the week at #99 brings back One Direction-er Zayn, who pairs up with alt-R&B artist PARTYNEXTDOOR for "Still Got Time" (so now four of the five former members of the boy-band are on the list, leaving out Louis Tomlinson for now, who had one here before)...
