Songoftheday 3/1/18 - Sweet sweet temptation for my soul sensation, I just got to have you all to myself...

"Love Me All Up" - Stacy Earl
from the album Stacy Earl (1991)
Billboard Hot 100 peak: #26 (one week)
Weeks in the Top-40: 8

Today's song of the day comes from pop singer Stacy Earl, who came from the suburbs of Boston, and released her self-titled debut album in 1991. The first single from the record, "Love Me All Up", was a jubilant slice of mainstream radio-ready dance music that still have a groove worthy enough for the nightclubs. Written by Earl with Danny Sembello and Richard Rudolph, the song was her first and biggest success, along the same vein as Cathy Dennis and Paula Abdul...

"Love Me All Up" became Stacy's first top-40 pop hit in January of 1992. The song also made it to #45 in Canada.
