twostepcub's music chart for May 5, 2017...

Friday's here, and it's time to run down my top 100 tunes from the previous week. Bruno Mars remains at #1 for a second week, while Cold War Kids (pictured above) move into the top ten. Songs from Zedd/Alessia Cara, Kygo/Selena Gomez, and Portugal the Man make the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red), while former big hits from Maroon 5, Kings Of Leon, Cage The Elephant, and Nevada/Mark Morrison drop off my list. Australian country star Keith Urban teams up with American Idol Carrie Underwood to claim the top debut of the week at #78 with their totally urban-cowboy track "The Fighter". It's the fifth single from Urban's Ripcord album...

At 71 years old, Debbie Harry is still going strong, and her band Blondie returns at #86 with their dance chart topper "Fun"....

British newcomer Lisa Williams makes her debut at #93 with her club hit "Higher Love"...

DREAMERS, an alternative rock band from New York City, also arrive at #94 with their first hit "Sweet Disaster"...

The second single from Mary J. Blige's just-released Strength Of A Woman album, "U + Me (Love Lesson)", moves in at #95...

Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi enters at #96 with "Despacito" featuring rapper Daddy Yankee. It's already an international smash, reaching the top 10 all over the world (no, I'm not even going to deal with the Bieber-ized version)...

The third release from Welsh pop/dance artist Bright Light Bright Light's stellar Choreography album, "Running Back To You", slips in at #97...

The final newbie on the chart at #99 is from Harry Styles, who joins his former One Direction bandmates Zayn (#39) and Niall Horan (#62) with his first solo offering "Sign Of The Times". Louis Tomlinson also popped on to my chart a couple months back, so only Liam Payne has yet to send a solo single here...
