"Melancholy Rose" was a club hit for the dance act Operatica featuring vocals from Maureen O'Flynn. Appearing on their album "O Volume 1", the song was helmed by producer/musician "Lord Vanger" and remixed by Richie Santana, with interspersed samples from Pope John Paul II. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #31 in 2001.
