"Serve The Ego" was a big club hit for the singer/songwriter more associated with lite pop-folk, Jewel. Appearing on her album This Way, the song was co-written by producer Itaal Shur and Cesar Lemos. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single spent a week at #1 in 2002.
