twostepcub's music chart for March 12, 2010...

It's another Sunday, so it's another time for my tunes for the week. Lady GaGa will not let up from the top spot, while David Guetta with Estelle (pictured above) makes it a third top-5 single in a row. The biggest moves are made by Kristine W., Mary J. Blige, and Adam Lambert (biggest movers marked in red), while former big hits by Noferini & Marini and Lady GaGa drop out. Link-O-Rama is still in effect, so you can click on the highlighted name of any of the artists to go to the website (rightclick to use a different tab or window). Viva la Liberte!

This week eight new songs debut on my list (while one re-enters), and the highest is by dance music singer Barbara Tucker. The Brooklynite has hit #1 on Billboard's dance chart seven times in the last 15 years, with songs like "I Get Lifted" and most recently "Love Vibrations", which made my top-30 three years ago. her latest is the uplifting "Feelin' Like A Superstar"...

Belgian duo AnnaGrace, formerly part of the group Ian Van Dahl, score their third consecutive Billboard dance radio #1 with "Love Keeps Calling"...

Jason Derulo has a prime tour spot opening on Lady GaGa's tour, as his second single "In My Head" is in the US top-10 and made #1 in England...

Japanese-American singer Utada has crossed over to the US dance charts, placing three songs in the top-20, and one "Devil Inside" from 2004, all the way to the top of Billboard's club play list. Her latest is "Dirty Desire"...

British band Snow Patrol have scored 10 top-40 singles in the UK, including the worldwide phenomenon "Chasing Cars". The group's latest, "Just Say Yes", previews their greatest hits set Up To Now.

Alan Jackson has carved a long and respectable career, including ten #1 country albums and 25 #1 country singles. His forthcoming album Freight Train will be coming out at the end of this month, and the first single is "It's Just That Way"...

The Haiti Charity single "We Are The World 25" drops out this week, to be replaced by the (somewhat) British counterpart, organized by Simon Cowell. It's a remake of the classic R.E.M. song "Everybody Hurts", and includes singers like Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Jon Bon Jovi, Robbie Williams, and my personal fave Kylie Minogue. It's available in the States, so go buy this single and support the cause...

and finally, Italian dance outfit Flanders is back with the hipshaker "Time"...

and as a bonus, and since I like it so much, here's the clip for the song that re-enters, Deadmau5's "Ghosts N Stuff"...

Nite Nite!
