Story of the day...Is Sessions trying out for hillbilly of the year?

I guess today's confirmations hearings with Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor have turned into a showcase of bitter queen Sen. Jeff "I never met a sheet I didn't like" Sessions unleashing his gentlemanly racist bullshit on probably the only captive audience he's had in quite a while.

Fave moments: most of all, after trying to trash Sotomayor with a disproven notion that she's be biased due to her race, proceeds to question why she didn't rule on a case the same as another Puerto Rican Judge on the court. Priceless.



Second, he attempts to chide Sotomayor on "racism", coming from somebody denied a bench job himself due to proven racist history...
