Saturday is here, and it's time to run down my top 100 "hit" tunes from the previous week. After her triumphant performance on Saturday Night Live, Billie Eilish holds tight at #1 for a third week, while newcomer Kenya Grace (pictured above) hangs on in the top ten. A former big hit from the Revivalists drops off my chart, while songs from FISHER, Brittany Howard, and Dua Lipa make some of the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red). And under the list everything is Spotify playlisted for 5 1/2 hours of the biggest in pop, rock, R&B, country, and dance music. This is the first "chart week" for 2024, and hopefully I've have my 2023 year-end countdown ready to go. Thanks for being patient and Happy Holidays to all who celebrate!
This Week Song/Artist (last week's position in parentheses)
Along with a re-entry from soul singer J. Brown, there are only two new songs making their debut on my chart this week (highlighted in blue), and if you click on either of them you'll connect to that artist's official website for more info on them. And here they are on video, after the break...

The sole Christmas song to make my chart this week comes from perennial favorite Cher who jingles in at #96 with "DJ Play A Christmas Song"...
The other new entry sees former teen kings the Jonas Brothers team up with country rocker Bailey Zimmerman at #99 for "Strong Enough"...
