Saturday's here, and it's time to run down my top "hit" tunes from the previous week. Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgraves take over at #1, while Usher (pictured above) leaps into the top ten. Former big hits from Taylor Swift/Ice Spice and Phillip Phillips drop off my chart, while songs from Tyla, Jelly Roll/Lainey Wilson, and Victoria Monet make the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red). And under the list, everything is Spotify playlisted for 5 1/2 hours of the biggest in pop, rock, R&B, country, and dance music.

As Taylor Swift's former top ten hit "Karma" leaves my list, a "from the vault" previously unreleased track from her re-recorded version of her 1989 album, "Is It Over Now?" claims the top debut at #82...
 
 
The lead single from Brittany Howard's second solo album while her band Alabama Shakes is on "hiatus", "What Now", checks in at #86. It's the title song from the sophomore effort which is due to come out in February of 2024...


Country music singer Nate Smith returns at #89 with "World On Fire", his follow-up to his #1 country radio hit "Whiskey On You"...


Olivia Rodrigo now has three songs on my chart as "Bad Idea Right?" at #10 and "Vampire" at #20 is joined with "Get Him Back!" at #94. All three are from her Grammy-nominated album GUTS...


Trippy hard rock band Greta Van Fleet drops in at #97 with "The Falling Sky". It's the second song from their Starcatcher album to make my list after "Meeting The Master"...


DJ/producer Marshmello brings Pink and Sting on board for the entry at #98, "Dreaming", which is on Pink's "tour edition" of her Trustfall album and interpolates Sting's previous hit "Fields Of Gold"...


Jack Antonoff, who heads the act Bleachers and also produces for Taylor Swift, has the final newbie at #99 with "Modern Girl"...
