twostepcub's music chart for January 13, 2017...
Friday's here, and it's time to run down my top 100 tunes from the previous week. "24K Magic" from Bruno Mars holds at #1 for an eighth week, while British bearish blues singer Rag N' Bone Man (pictured above) leaps into the top 5. Songs from the Weeknd/Daft Punk, Offaiah, and Lukas Graham make the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red), while former big hits from Billy Currington, NERVO, and Daya drop off the chart. Is it a bad sign that the first month of this year has a Friday the 13th?

There are ten songs making their debut on my chart this week (highlighted in blue), and if you click on any of them, you'll connect to that artist's official website. And here they are on video, after the break...
(Click below to see the rest of the post)
Dance music newcomer Kristii scores her first hit with the highest debut of the week at #87 with "Recovery"...
Joe Jonas-led dance-rock act DNCE, who ended up in my year-end chart for 2016 at #8 with "Cake By The Ocean", return at #88 with "Body Moves"...
Jon Pardi, who claimed Billboard's Country Airplay single of the year in 2016 with "Head Over Boots", is back at #90 with "Dirt On My Boots"...
The video-meme fodder "Black Beatles" from brotherly rap duo Rae Sremmurd with Gucci Mane guesting flies into the list at #91...
Speed-metal veterans Metallica ascend to #92 with "Atlas, Rise!", the third single from their Hardwired...To Self-Destruct album...
"Blue-eyed rapper" Machine Gun Kelly shoots in at #93 with "Bad Things", featuring Camila Camacho who just left her vocal group Fifth Harmony. If it sounds familiar, it's because it interpolates the melody to the 1998 hit pop single "Out Of My Head" from Fastball...
As Oregon is covered with snow, it's only fitting that Blind Pilot, an indie-folk band from the state, makes their debut at #94 with "Packed Powder"...
New York-based DJ/producer Party Favor (aka Dylan Ragland), pops in at #96 with "In My Head" featuring Georgia Ku...
One of my personal favorite albums of last year was Choreography from electro-pop wunderkind Bright Light Bright Light (Welshman Rod Thomas). The first song of his to pop on to my weekly chart is "Symmetry Of Two Hearts" featuring Elton John...
UK X Factor winners Little Mix, who are at #45 with "Shout Out To My Ex", slip in at #100 with the follow-up, "Touch"...
