Songoftheday 11/14/16 - She's got a certain way about her, I don't think I could go a day without her love...

"Sunshine" - Dino
from the album 24/7 (1989)
Billboard Hot 100 peak: #23 (one week)
Weeks in the Top-40: 6

Today's song of the day comes from the dance-pop singer/songwriter/producer Dino, who finally landed his first top-40 pop hit in the U.S. with the third single from his debut album, "I Like It". For the follow-up he released another bright mid-tempo dance track, "Sunshine". Written, produced, and sung by the artist, the song again found favor on pop radio with his innocuous lyrics and sunny attitude...

"Sunshine" became Dino's second top-40 pop hit in November of 1989. The single also climbed to #47 on Billboard's R&B chart. A fifth single from the album, the seductive "Never 2 Much Of U", was a minor hit on the pop (#61) and R&B (#69) charts.
