twostepcub's music chart for April 16, 2010...

Hey folks, I'm here waiting at the airport for a couple more hours, so what better time to post my tunes for the week. This week Lady GaGa is back at the top with help from Beyonce, while John Mayer (pictured above) slinks up the top-10. The biggest moves come from Chevelle, Kelly Clarkson, and The Temper Trap, while former big hits by Melanie Fiona, Shinedown, Robbie Williams, Tony Moran and Frenchie Davis drop out. Link-O-Rama is still in effect, so you can click on the highlighted name of any of the artists to go to their website. Now get along!

There are ten new songs on my chart, starting off with singer-songwriter Ryan Star from Long Island, New York. Star was a contestant on the show Rock Star (no, not the season to find the replacement for INXS). His first single is "Breathe", and the video is pretty poignant...

Next is the fourth charting single from Canadian group Nickelback's album Dark Horse. It's "This Afternoon"...

Dance powerhouse BT is back with his followup to "The Rose Of Jericho". It's "Suddenly" and I'm glad he's back to the vocal dance stuff..

Next is rock group Paramore, with their new single "Brick By Boring Brick"..

Country singer Clay Walker is now "Old-School" country, and I remember when he was one of the "new breed" back in the 90's. His new single is "She Won't Be Lonely Long"..

Electronic dance act Deadmau5 is back with Melleefresh for the quirky "Sex Slave"..

Young Money, a rapping collective led by currently incarcerated Lil' Wayne, is on here with "Bedrock"...

Another throwback from the 90's, soul singer Monica, is returning with "Everything To Me". You may remember her from her hits "Don't Take it Personal" or "The First Night", but most likely due to her duet with Brandy, "The Boy Is Mine"..

Next is rapper B.O.B., or Bobby Ray Simmons, with "Nothing On You"...

And finally, for something different, is Germany's Lena Meyer-Landrut, with her country's entry into Eurovision, "Satellite" - Love that one of the lines is "I bought new underwear for you"....

Au Revoir!
