twostepcub's music chart for December 16, 2016...


Friday's here, and time to run down my top 100 tunes from the previous week. This time out Bruno Mars spends a fourth week on top, while Shawn Mendes (pictured above) climbs into the top 5. Songs from Tony Moran/Jason Walker, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Carrie Underwood make the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red), while former big hits from Green Day, Lady Gaga, Calvin Harris/Rihanna, Ellie Goulding, and KUNGS/Cookin' On 3 Burners drop off my chart.

DJ Lodato and Joseph Duveen, both from New York, roll in at #70 with their club hit "Older"...


Australian alternative dance duo Empire Of The Sun return at #77 with "High And Low", from their stellar third album Two Vines...


Country crossover singer Dustin Lynch touches down at #82 with "Seein' Red", the first single from his upcoming third album...


Tinashe, an R&B singer from Kentucky, has her debut solo hit on my list with "Superlove" at #87. Earlier this year, she was featuring on British dance act Snakehips' "All My Friends"...


Dutch remixing star R3Hab (aka Fadil El Ghoul) rises to #91 with his own creation, "Icarus"...


British singer Anne-Marie, who appears on Clean Bandit's #1 UK hit "Rockabye" which is #48 on my list, comes in on her own at #93 with "Alarm"...


Pop singer/songwriter John Mayer is back at #96 with "Love On The Weekend". It's the lead track from The Search For Everything, due in 2017 as his first studio album in four years...


As the first single from Green Day's Revolution Radio, "Bang Bang", falls off my chart, its follow-up, "Still Breathing", arrives at #97...


Louisa Johnson, who won the twelfth season of X Factor UK, slips in at #99 with "So Good"...


Country traditionalist Brad Paisley rounds out the new pack at #100 with "Today", the second single from his upcoming February release, Love and War...
