This week there are ten new song on my list, starting with the Australian band Temper Trap. The group's "Sweet Disposition" has gotten more exposure beyond radio, most notably in the movie (500) Days Of Summer. A former top-10 hit in the United Kingdom, the song is played both on modern rock radio as well as the dance clubs in a remix by Axwell.

Beyonce's sister Solange has carved a nice niche career after releasing her sophomore album Sol-Angel and The Hadley St. Dreams, which produced three dance club (and twostepcubchart) hits ("I Decided", "Sandcastle Disco" and "T.O.N.Y."). Alas, even a top-10 CD wasn't enough to keep her on the label, and after she was dropped, Solange announced she would release her next record independently. So it's no surprise her latest debut is "Fuck The Industry". And no, her father didn't write it...

New Angelino rock band Crash Kings' first single raced to the top of the Modern Rock chart, and it's debuting here. It's "Mountain Man"...

Kelly Clarkson's fourth single from her fourth album (wow, it's been THAT long since Idol) is the title track, "All I Ever Wanted"...

American dance music artist Morgan Page was nominated for a Grammy this past year, and has notched up numerous hits here, most recently the 2sc-chart top-40 "Fight For You". His latest is "Strange Condition"...

Illinois rock band Chevelle have had eight top-10 Modern Rock chart hits, and the eighth debuts here, "Letter From A Thief"...

And now for something completely different. I don't get it. Just don't get it. But he's big. Incredibly big. Overseas huge. And here he is, with Ludacris. Canadian tween-dream Justin Bieber, and "Baby"...

Dance singer Debby Holiday teams up with actor/singer (and Sordid Lives' Director Del Shores' husband) Jason Dottley for "Party Round The World"...

And finally, French-Canadian singer "Coeur De Pirate", born Beatrice Martin, makes the list with "Pour Un Infidele" with guest vocals by Julien Dore, who won a season of France's singing show Nouvelle Star.

Bon soir!
