Twostepcub's music chart for March 28, 2008...

Hey guys, I'm quite late, but I'm back with my tunes from (last) week. (damn working all weekend!) This week Sara Bareilles spends a remarkable eighth week on top, while Lifehouse (pictured above) creeps into the top-10. X-Press 2, Kylie Minogue, and Lady Antebellum make the biggest moves, while Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Maroon5, Lenny Kravitz, and Pink (finally) leave the chart. This week eight songs debut and one re-enters the chart. First off, Jack Johnson is back with a typical laid-back surferdude ditty, "If I Had Eyes"...

Next, my pick of the week, already a sensation in Britain, now just hitting the states, the retro sounds of Duffy and "Mercy"....

(and for some extra goodness, the US video, cuz I like it so much.)

Dierks Bentley is back with the fourth single from his latest album "Tryin' To Stop Your Leavin'"...

Electronica act Goldfrapp is also returning with a more earthy (and awesome) song and the coolest video of the week, "A&E"....

Billed as Kleerup featuring Robyn last time out, "With Every Heartbeat" is returning to the chart due to its release in the states as just Robyn.very very good song....

And on the soul tip, Keyshia Cole comes on with "I Remember"....

And for a totally different change of pace, the inspiring video put to Rascal Flatts' new single, "Every Day"...WATCH...

Now for some fun. Erin Hamilton (yeah, I know, Carol Burnett's daughter) is on with a song from almost 8 years ago, a dance remake of Cheap Trick's "The Flame"...

finally, new artists Ferras is on with a song made popular by American Idol without being made by an "Idol" singer, here's "Hollywood's Not America"...

Keep a pet for yourself...

Oh, some great songs there, the top 2 to start with. And I love Ingrid Michaelson (check out her duet with the wonderful Joshua Radin).

With your love for country, also check out Tift Merritt; quite brilliant.

thanks boss! I do love Tift's music, I have her latest album. She reminds me of Alison Moorer and Kim Richey.
