Tonight's DSS is by Some & Any , formed from two contestants who went on to win the eighth season of the German version of the Popstars singing competition/"reality" show. German Vanessa Meisinger and Brazilian/Swiss Leonardo Ritzmann have their first post-triumph single with "Last Man Standing", which has made the top-40 in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. It's very late 80's retro, so at least someone is there to take a-ha's place (without the high falsetto, of course). I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year, and a start to a hopefully optimistic new decade. I've resolved to be posting more (as I always promise), but as this truly makes me happy I'm going to concentrate on the things that make me happy. Peace Out.
