This week there are eight new songs on my list (marked in yellow), and I've included link to their earlier video classics (highlighted in orange). The first is by Georgia-based Zac Brown Band, with a song first previewed on their Pass The Jar live collection, and thankfully released on their latest CD You Get What You Give. It's easily my favorite song of theirs, and likely to follow the five-time #1 success of songs like "Chicken Fried" and "As She's Walking Away". Here's "Colder Weather"...

Next up is the Far East Movement with their follow-up to the US #1 hit "Like A G6". This time they bring a song co-written by Bruno Mars and featuring OneRepublic's lead singer Ryan Tedder on vocals. Here's "Rocketeer"...

Taio Cruz is back with a track that on his CD Rokstarr is solo, in America features Gym Class Heroes alum Travie McCoy, and in the rest of the world (and my preferred version) Kylie Minogue. In fact, on the US dance chart there a version featuring all three, and looks to be a #1 followup to "Break Your Heart" and "Dynamite", and he's taking this one "Higher"...

Chicago melodic hardcore act Rise Against have had two top-3 hits on the alternative rock chart - "Re-Education (Through Labor)" and "Savior", and look to make it a hat trick with their latest, "Help Is On The Way"...

DJ Jipsta is from Clifton, NJ, and has his third top-10 dance hit following "Middle Of The Dancefloor" and "I Want Your Sex" with a song featuring 90 house music singer Sandy B, who has had two #1 club hits of her own with "Make The World Go Round" and "Ain't No Need To Hide". Here's the ambitious "Party Of The Year"...

Passion Pit is a US electro-pop band from Massachusetts that have scored top-40 modern rock hits with "Little Secrets" and "The Reeling", and now have their first top-20 dance hit with the song "Sleepyhead". All 3 are worth a listen...

Sean Combs, aka Puff Daddy, aka Diddy, aka not sure, is back with an new image, and a new trio with two singers called Diddy-Dirty Money. As a lead artist, Diddy had two #1 US pop hits out of the gate with "Can't Nobody Hold Me Down" and "I'll Be Missing You". In his new outfit, he's more introspective, with a song co-written by Skylar Grey, who formerly recorded under the name Holly Brook and had a #4 pop hit with "Where'd You Go". Here's "Coming Home"...

Finally R&B legend El DeBarge is back is my chart just in time for him to cancel his 'comeback' tour and enter rehab. I hope he gets the help he needs, because he is such a great talent, with his work with his family act (DeBarge) as well as his solo work with one US top-3 hit ("Who's Johnny"). His latest is a duet with Faith Evans, who's gone through a lot on her own (especially as the widow of the Notorious BIG), but also with a couple #2 R&B hits ("Love Like This" and "I Love You"). Here's the smooth retro soul of "Lay With You"...

Gimme the wheel!
