twostepcub's music chart for December 3, 2010...

Hey guys, it's time for my top 100 tunes for the week. This week Bruno Mars spends a second week at the top, while country duo Sugarland (pictured above) hold on in the top-5. Former big hits by Kaci Battaglia and Paramore drop off my list, while tracks by Duck Sauce, The Script, and the Far East Movement make the biggest moves (10+ jumps in red). Link-O-Rama is still in full effect, so you can click on the highlighted name of any of the artists to go to their website. Rock on!

There are only four new songs coming on to this week's list (marked in yellow), and two of them have one woman in common, Katy Perry. Her new proper single debuts at the same position her club hit "Peacock" came in last week. Here's the very cool video for "Firework"...

The other KP related track is the second version of Katy Perry's former number-one hit "Teenage Dream". That song is still in my top-3, while the amazing acappella version from the cast of Glee (actually Darren Criss backed by the Beelzebubs) make the ensemble's second US top-10 hit (after their initial "Don't Stop Believin'", now nominated for a Grammy). I actually love this version 10X better!

Next is two legendary club DJs that I must have a ton of remixes each from. Ralphi Rosario from Chicago pioneered house music in the late 80s, and with Miami-based Abel Aguilera formed the duo Rosabel who had three #1 club hits and the turn of the century ("Don't You Want My Love", "The Power", and "That Sound"). They are back, but using their full names and recruiting singer Tamara Wallace for the disco-fied "C'mon Get Funky"..

Lastly, another club collaboration sneaks on, this time by Steven Lee who sometimes goes by Lee-Cabrera, who along with Granite and New York singer Zander Bleck remake the Tears For Fears 80's classic "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" for the dancefloor...(PS I wouldn't go to the website in this video, "free music" usually means viruscity..)

And that's all for tonight. Sweet dreams!
