This week's two top debuts are by pop artists that have surprisingly made quite respectable debut country singles. First off is Hootie & The Blowfish lead singer Darius Rucker, with "Don't Think I Don't Think About It", from his upcoming album Learn To Live...

Pop-diva gone reality-show pin-up come country singer Jessica Simpson is back with a breezy new single, "Come On Over"....

And in the past couple of months we've seen three Cyrus' on my chart - first daddy Billy Ray (with daughter Miley) on "Ready Set, Don't Go", next Miley herself with "See You Again", and now Miley's half-brother (and Billy Ray's stepson) Trace debuts with his band Metro Station with the new-wavish "Shake It"...

Trace was born in 1989 - the next artist was born in 1933! Yes, it's 78-year-old Yoko Ono, with a remake/remix of the classic (and timely) "Give Peace A Chance"...

Give Peace A Chance (DJ Dan Vocal Mix) - Yoko Ono

Staying on the dance tip, DJ Chris "The Greek" Panaghi is back with the bumpin' "My Life"...

My Life (Josh Harris Radio Edit) - Chris "the Greek" Panaghi

Next up, a song from a "reality show" star, but not American Idol - it's Dancing With The Stars' Julianne Hough with "That Song In My Head"...

Finally, country crooner George Strait places his umpteenth record here with the title song from his latest album, Troubadour (here in a fan video)...

solidarity, brothers!

just to correct it: Yoko is 75 years old. Old enough to be one of the greatest, anyway...
