twostepcub's music chart for November 29, 2019...

(Black) Friday's here, and it's time again to run down my top 100 "hit" songs from the previous week. Lewis Capaldi reigns for a seventh non-consecutive week, while Lizzo (pictured above) leaps into the top five to have two songs there now. Songs from Coldplay, Tones and I, and Meg Myers make the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red), while former big hits from Luke Combs and Joel Corry drop out. Let the tryptophan coma begin!

The top debut spot at #88 belongs to production/remixing team of Grapefruit Sound Lab, who recruit house music singer Sheila Brody, aka Amuka ("Appreciate Me", "I Want More (Cling On To Me)") for their new collab "Don't Fall For It"...

Singer/musician/remixer Elderbrook comes together with fellow British drum and bass act Rudimental for "Something About You" which enters at #89. It appears on Rudimental's EP Distinction...

Valerie Broussard, a singer from Philadelphia, connects with Swedish dance duo Galantis at #93 with "Roots"...

Beck's made news recently over his departure from Scientology, meanwhile his new single "Uneventful Days" arrives at #96. It previews his 14th studio album Hyperspace released last week...

British pop ingenue Dua Lipa returns at #97 with "Don't Start Now", her new offering that's already a top ten hit in her native UK...

The final entry of the week comes from the pairing of British DJ/producer Riton (Henry Smithson) along with Dutch DJ/remixer Oliver Heldens and British singer Vula, who has previously gifted her voice to Basement Jaxx. Their collab, "Turn Me On", rolls in at #98. The record interpolates two club classics: Yaz's "Don't Go" and First Choice's "Doctor Love"...
